At Tall Trees you will enjoy dishes with multiple flavours and textures that are appealing to both the eye and the palate, not to mention addicting. Please note: Dinner reservations have a cancellation fee of $50.00 per person if it is not cancelled with 5 hours notice. All reservations are for a two-hour seat time.

When booking on RESY you will have a choice of which room you would like to reserve. Tall Trees inhabits one of Huntsville’s oldest homes dating back to the early 1900s, recently all the rooms have been renovated for modern convenience without losing their old-world charm. Scroll down to see the rooms with a short description.

Disclaimer: We do our best to keep reservations for particular rooms as requested however the room is not guaranteed, we may make adjustments as needed (with the exception of the summer chalets/winter gazebos and The Library).

The Rooms at Tall Trees

Indoor Dining
Front Parlour: Centrally located, decorated in warm wood tones featuring the original floors.
Veranda: A bright and airy room with plenty of natural light and original brick flooring.
Dining Room: Located in the heart of the restaurant this room includes a wood feature wall and copper-toned tin ceiling.
Back Parlour: This room is perfect for a larger party with a stone fireplace, custom copper-toned flooring and antique details.
Library: This cozy room has one table and is tucked away for more privacy. This lovely room features a stained glass panel of a lone jack pine. 
The Scullery: This bright and light room is filled with windows and features large booths with a view to the garden. 

Outdoor Dining*
The Winter Chalets/Summer Gazebos: Each screened-in gazebo in the summer/wood stove heated winter chalet (late September - May long weekend) houses one table for four with a view to the garden – if you're lucky you might see a deer! Winter chalet reservations will cost $20, nonrefundable.
The Muskoka Room: A big screened-in room with a view to the garden, a wonderful space for larger groups that want to enjoy the fresh Muskoka air. The Muskoka Room closes after the Thanksgiving weekend, reopening on the May long weekend.

* All outdoor dining rooms are NOT HEATED until late September, please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear according to the temperature.

Tall Trees is happy to make a reservation for you, they are recommended but not required. If you find yourself just unable to finalize your schedule or you’re stuck in traffic, that’s not an issue. Feel free to walk in and if we are full, we are happy to grab you a drink and perhaps an appetizer while you wait for a table.

If you are looking to book one of our Private Dining Summer Gazebos or Winter Chalets please ensure you request it at the time of booking. Also, please be advised that due to our fickle Canadian weather you run the risk of losing the reservation if we are unable to move you inside. The weather call is made that day, and we will do our best to accommodate a safe and enjoyable dining experience. NEW for Fall/Winter 2022-2023, winter chalet reservations may only be made over the phone and will cost $20, nonrefundable. Call us at (705) 789-9769 to reserve your Winter Chalet.
